| A day threatening rain didn't come to much so Crispies carried on happily with quite a rush later on and averaged 33. It was noticeable that Crispy handicaps are influencing the winners' rostrum, both those that got on and those that didn't. A brace of Snells were noticed along with a scattering of Fosters. Winner with 41 was Oli Dawson, from Andy Smith, Malcolm Lawrence, Charlie Foster and Paddy Farrell. Counting the cost were Briars (yet again), bludgeon, yours truely, dusty, el Presidente, pillow, the pits, rained_on and jankers (winning can be burdensome). |
